Matriculants Encouraged To Apply For NSFAS Funding

Because the 2024 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the chance to submit an application for funding in the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

"The application window will close on fifteen December 2024, and you'll find not many days left to post applications. Qualified students are urged to apply promptly to secure economic assistance for their post-school education," Nkabane said.

Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Exams, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper three.

Nkabane claimed this pivotal moment marks the fruits of several years of hard work and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their tests with perseverance and self esteem.

Nkabane highlighted a range of alternatives readily available within the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) system, and that is open to all matriculants trying to find additional education and learning and skills development.

The PSET system contains:

• Community Education and nsfas login Training (CET) how to upload documents on nsfas colleges: Giving skills development and general education for students who want to continue learning.

• Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges: Focusing on website practical skills and technical knowledge to equip students for employment and self-employment.

• Higher Education institutions: how to upload documents on nsfas Universities and higher education providers offering degree and diploma programmes.
